Wasn't that in Oakland? I had heard about that at the time. In the US they like to try anything. Why not?

jack, I liked your other avatar better. This one is hard to tell what it is. Plus, it confuses me. When I was looking for you, I looked for "red".

whs, install the ImageZoom extension for Firefox. I know you'll resist but it has some great features, including ImageFit (fills the screen with the hard to see image).

What would I do with a Firefox extension when I don't use Firefox? CTL and rolling the wheely works a lot easier.

Lighthouse, sure it does. It enlarges everything that's on the page.
jack, I am very happy with IE. Firefox is not working well on my system. Maybe because I never took the time to properly set it up. True, sometimes IE plays a prank, but so what.

That's odd. With me, it only enlarges text?

You are probably not on IE. That's what you get when you use those alien browsers.

IE6, FF2 and below only change text size.
Opera 9, Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 3 can zoom everything including images.

Note: I'm not sure which Opera version introduced it but I know from searches it was before the other two with a zoom feature.

Edit: Just checked and it appears to be Opera version 9 that introduced the zoom feature.
Opera 9 came out around Augest, 2006
Internet Explorer 7 came out October 18th, 2006
So it seems like Opera has zoom first but the beta periods were close to so I don't know which was first.
