Please define "Latest Discussions". What time period or quantity of posts is included?

Instantly you reload the page.

If you want the page update automatically you can use this in Firefox (there is also a version for Chrome and is already installed in Opera) and have it update every 5 mins or so. The updated page will have new posts in blue.

Latest Discussions are just that. The most recent post by anyone to any topic is at the top of the list. It includes all sub-forums except, I believe, the Off Topic forum. The nice feature is that the ones you have not read are in blue while those you have read are in black. This carries forward to any computer you might move to. The system always knows what you have read.

Xhi is correct re OT. It does not show up in "Latest Discussions". OT is our little playground / space that takes us away from complicators, makes us smile and where the 'family' can connect freely and share the eccentricity and realness of our off geek lives.
