All of a sudden I have this large gap in the add remove programs window with black rectangles in it and the green "unmovable" files in the disk defrag window are split in two, what is going on??? I thought I once saw a program claiming to fix this add/remove space, any ideas? thanks in advance,,

Maybe you want to use WinDirStat http://www.download.com/WinDir.....14593.html to see what is going on.

Just check whether there are any big files that seem strange to you. Every file in the colored part will show up with it's name when you click on it. Only look for the big ones. And you can always post a screenshot. Then we'll have a look at it.

cctenpro, welcome to the forum. I searched on your problem and there are a lot of people who have experienced the large gap in Add/Remove. Many of them have traced it to a prior install of AutoCAD. This seems to be just one of many bad uninstallers that leave problem registry entries behind, as discussed in this article by Raymond Chen:

Delete these bad registry entries, if you have them. If you need help with this, ask here and we can guide you.
