Get to pick out a laptop for me & my better half this year. ! have read stories ( horror) on some makes & models. will be mainly used to surf around on web, email , lil bit of gaming (kid stuff).
looking for like when we do vacations ect ....... ya guys have any suggestions ?

i have an acer aspire 7741 17.5 inch. i love it! only problem i have had with it is for some reason the speakers have no sound. i get sound from usb, and head phone jack. but that could just be my system. i have noticed on lots of laptops to return the system to factory settings you need a disk to do so. with my acer you do not need one. the price was less than $550.00 from walmart.
