I have a Dell Vostro 1500 series laptop running windows XP.
On boot I get the blue screen with the code STOP: 0x0000007B. (0xBA4CB524, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
Not able to start it in any mode, keeps ending up with the blue screen.
No new software was added.
I have been getting many (about once a month) blue screens for over a year now, normally a reboot gets rid of it.
does not run hot.
Any help appreciated.

Laptop has blue screen on boot
(9 posts)Advanced troubleshooting for "Stop error code 0x0000007B (INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE)" errors in Windows XPI would recommend that you download on another computer Windows Defender Offline and run it to make a CD that you can then boot and try to repair your computer from. This will clean any Viruses or root kits that may be causing your problem.
Are you sure it is booting from the CD? Sounds like it is not. I don't know what to say from here when I can not see it. If the disk was made correctly and the system set to boot from the CD then you should at least get a different result. But, it is possible that you have a hardware problem that is preventing the boot from either device.
