The drive hasn't been banged around or anything last night, although it did go travelling with me as I visited my girlfriend's with the intent of doing some work whilst I was there (I didn't get around to it, haha!). I hadn't heard any clicking or banging noises from the hardrive during prior usage, but this morning when I returned home it will not start up at all. There's no blue light, which usually indcates that it's on, and there's no starting up of the machine, it's as though it's not plugged in at all.

I've tested it's power lead in my laptop, and the laptop recognises a power supply coming from the lead, so it's the black box/external hardrive itself that's not registering that it's plugged in. This hardrive has all my files/media/program installation files on it. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
