Keyboard problems

My laptop keyboard suddenly started acting weird .. Most keys are screwed up..
Pressing backspace does random stuff
Pressing enter highlights everything and deletes them.. Luckily they prompt a delete MSG

Tested with external keyboard it's fine only the built in keyboard has problems

Any idea what might be the problem?

Limedhoney hi. First thing would be is to buy a can of compressed air, and give a good blast between every key. With computer off, unplugged from the mains, and battery removed. Then leave it for 2 hours before you try and fire her up.

So this is most likely a hardware problem? But I dont remember having spill liquid on the keyboard before

Doesn't matter. Dust, bugs, etc can do it.

Also borrow a USB keyboard to determine for certain if it is the keyboard.
