hi guys, I have a problem somtimes on my laptop that when im working a Blue screen pop up and says " Dumping Phyical memory" is it a Problem with Vista or just my laptop? also is there a way so i can get rid of this happening? BTW i tried to scan my laptop with both Norton Protection & Spyware Doctor.

Yeas. I've had that a few times. Mostly when using Unlocker, but also once with Regscanner.

DLZ, that I don't. I stopped using Unlocker about 6 months ago. And although the Regscanner incident was fairly recent, it was the first occurance I had seen with that program. I would think it's because a program is trying to read things, that Vista doesn't want to be read.

DLZ, if it's Vista that's performing a memory dump, there should be a record of the error in Event Viewer. The Event Viewer entry might tell you what happened, or you could try Problem Reports and Solutions to see if the error is logged there.
