I receive the message above every time I open a Firefox 3.6.8 window, rather annoying. I tried to update JavaScript, but this proved impossible as I received the following error message:
bin\awt.dll Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since the contents do not match.
What can I do?

Such is FF! Download http://mozbackup.jasnapaka.com/
This will back up all your bookmarks etc. When you backup uncheck all your addons, I know this is a pain but it looks like an addon has caused the problem.
Uninstall FF using REVO
Reinstall FF from FF
Do not use the original exe file
Open mozbak, and restore your previous settings
Addons are great, but they do create problems so check em out.....
