I play a lot of games on yahoo and up until last week everything was fine. Now when I go to yahoo games and click Gin, it jumps right to Java installation page. I have not made any changes to my computer. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I believe there was a recent Java update for XP machines. About a week ago it showed up on XP but not Vista or W7. Is that what it might be?

You said it goes to the Java installation page. Did you click on it to install. Also, try this.

If it is only that game Yahoo might have made a change. Can you still play the game?

http://www.malwarebytes.org/pr.....ytes_free/ Try running the free version of this. Delete any nasties it may find. If that doesn't help you might need to wait for someone that has had the same problem with a fix. Unable to access my Xp machine right now to see if it is a Yahoo problem.

If you do not get it fixed or other answers will try Yahoo game, Gin. When I can, and see if it is a Yahoo thing.

uninstall java completely, see here: http://www.java.com/en/download/uninstall.jsp

or use revo uninstaller. get it here: http://www.revouninstaller.com.....nload.html
find it in the list of installed programs, select it, and hit uninstall.

clear out your temp internet files, cookies, & cache.
see here: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Y.....Explorer_8
or, as i would, use ccleaner. get it here: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

at this point, personally i'd shutdown and restart the comp.. then ...

reinstall java, see here: http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_xpi.jsp

once installed double check a few of these settings ...

hopefully this helps. theres some other settings under the advanced tab that you can double check as well but im not too sure which to tell you to enable. will try and have a look around to see if i find a good guide.
