I did a full scan with MSE yesterday and it detected 4 Java Exploits.
I uninstalled Java last month (Jan. 2013) and had only done MSE Quick Scans which did not detect them.
I have no idea how long these exploits had been in my system.
If you use MSE, I advise you to do a FULL SCAN on your system drive/partition as soon as possible.

I tried the snipping tool when I first got Win7 and was unimpressed so I went back to the old standby I used in XP: MWSnap. Quality of the image was better and I had more choices of what to save the image to, including the clipboard. I can capture an image and paste it directly into a file, such as a Word doc, without having to first save it, then copy and past it into the doc. Images can be captured in a fix size rectangle, the size of which I can determine, or a variable sized rectangle that gets dragged across the area to be captured until the size is correct (the option I use the most).
