This isn't really specifically for OS X, but that's what I'm running on in this case. Apparently at some point in the past few months, I incorrectly put in my password too many times. That, or someone tried getting in but didn't know the password. Regardless, iTunes disabled my account for my own protection. Their steps to enabling it again are quite simple, they say that I need only to reset my password. I've done that several times and in several different ways. My password is undoubtedly reset and changed. However, when I attempt to buy a CD, it still gives me the message that my account has been disabled for my protection. If anyone has a quick fix for this nuisance I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hi spada05, I would get in contact with iTunes support directly and mail them your problem. If you have successfully changed your password and still can“t download a file then there is probably a fault on their side somewhere. Matt
