Is WoW a 32-bit process or a 16-bit process?

As topic, is Windows on Windows(wowexec.exe) a 32-bit process/program or a 16-bit one?

PS: Sorry, this should be under Win XP.

It is a 32 bit process that allows you to run 16 bit processes if I remember correctly.

Why do you need to know?
