I recently got a new desktop with Windows Vista. Would my old software which is "Microsoft Picture It! Photo 2002" install and work without problems with Vista Home which is what my OS is now ? This came installed on my old computer (XP), but they furnished the CDs .... so still have them. I liked the program and didn't know if it would install and work with Vista. Any and all responses are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi SalOr, welcome. You can try and see if they run under "compatabity mode" , or someone may come up with a direct yes or no. Hang around :)

SalOr24, the place to look and see if software (and hardware) are compatible with Vista is the Windows Compatibility Center. Unfortunately, the Vista compatibility of Picture It 2002 is "Unknown". That's odd since Microsoft is the publisher. Best thing to do is just try to install and run it. If it fails, Vista might change the settings using the Compatibility Wizard. If not, then you can launch the Compatibility Wizard yourself.

@mnpeep, Windows Virtual PC and XP Mode require Windows 7 and are not available for Vista. Please check your facts before posting.
