is there a way to set all folders to be the same?

When I go to different folders the way the folder looks changes, like music folders show different than picture folders.

is there a way to get them all to stay the same?

sorry to post so much, but you guys have been helping me. I'm tryin to organize my computer with my new hard drive

If you go into folder options, select the view tab and do "apply to all folders"
