I have a new Windows 8 laptop and so far so good. I certainly know of a couple of ways to put the computer to sleep either on a timed setting or just get to the power options. However,I have an older Emachines desktop that the key board came with a specific button to put the computer to sleep instantly and I've always loved it. Is there a way to make a specific key,one that's rarely used i.e.(print screen) etc. To make the lap top computer sleep when I push it? Let me know how please if you know. Thanks.

I'll be damned. That was easy. I feel like a dummy. Thanks. I assume if I press and hold the power button will still shut it off. I didn't try that yet.
