Hi,
I have two hard drives(Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 500GB) that I was thinking about setting up as Raid0 for extra performance. Some say it will not make a big different .(not noticeable) If so, than why do they have Raid0? I would really like your opinion, as I am at a lost of what to do.
Thank You

You take a higher risk of loosing your data. If only one of the drives dies, your files are gone. If you really want a significant performance boost, get an SSD for your OS. 60 to 80GB is enough. Use one of the Barracudas for imaging to always have a safe backup.
