Is my Putty SSH tunnel encrypted?

I set up an SSH server from following online guides (so I dont know any specific settings but it seemed to be a standard SSH server). Now I am connecting to it through putty but I don't see any options on putty to encrypt the data, does that mean it is already encrypted? OR how can I check?
