I got a new iPhone.I have a lot of dvds and i want to transfer them to my iPhone.I find a third-party software that can convert dvd to iPhone on mac.It is easy to use .I like it very much.But my friend told me it is invalid to convert dvd.Is it invalid?

When you say invalid do you mean illegal? Yes and no.

Yes: if you downloaded the DVD or borrowed it off someone and plan to share / distribute it.

No: if you own the DVD and bought it, and only want to use it on your PSP, NDS, iPod, iPhone or any other media. (Zune, Zen, etc)
