(Solved) - Is is possible to reformat my laptop with preinstalled W8 to install W7 instead

My mom got a new laptop but does not like Windows 8 at all and wishes to have W7 instead. Can I just do a clean installation using the Windows 7 CD. Will I run into any problems with hardware? These are the specs for that laptop:
