I have an iPod touch 3gs, and it WILL charge when you connect to a USB to ac adapter, but will not connect to a computer, or power on while connected to a computer. It is plugged into the tower itself. It will not hold a charge either. I can get it to show up in recovery mode, but it won't let me restore. It always gives me an error code. The reason I need to restore, is because, when you turn it on when plugged into AC power, it says "iPod disabled. Connect to iTunes." But, as soon as you unplug it, it dies. Help me out here! Thanks.

Nope. Won't work. I can physically connect the iPod to the computer, but it does nothing. My computer won't even recognize it. The iPod cable, and USB ports are functional.
