Ipod frozen!!!!!

I was on my ipod and i went to run an app ( stardom a- list) and as soon as i tapped on it it went grey then it turned a sort of light pale green and has stayed like that for hours i tried pressing the home button then the lock button then tried holding the lock button but it just stayed green, i tried letting it rest for awhile but none of my attempts to get it working has not worked. PLEASSSEEEE HELPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TRY holding power button & other button on bottom of screen down at the same time for 1 min (thats if its a touch)

Looks like the OP isn't gonna return. They haven't been on for 2 weeks now, so I would assume it was fixed!

Anyway, bubbatie1's suggestion should have done the job.
