IPhone 5 not pairing correctly

Does anyone know if Apple is coming out with a fix for this problem. My phone rings while in the car and I have to answer the actual phone rather than use the blue tooth button on the steering wheel. After about 8 seconds the blue tooth begins to work and the sound comes over the speakers. Buick has told me that it is an Apple problem.

I'm in the UK so it may be a different issue, but I've found that the iphone won't automatically re-pair when you get back in the car, but it is still searching so I just tap the 'answer' button on the car unit once and that seems to get them pairing. May work for yours.
