I don't have a Mercedes myself, but as far as I'm aware they use the same phone setup as most other manufacturers so I would suggest that you cannot import your contacts into the car's system because it hasn't got a phone built in, it probably has bluetooth connectivity to give let you control your iphone using buttons and/or voice commands, but the contacts etc. are handled by your iphone. The manual should tell you how to set up bluetooth connectivity, but the general method is to select 'pairing' on the phone and the car and then you are walked through it.
