How-To Geek Forums / Windows XP

Internet Explorer won't work, but Mozilla works.

OS is Win XP Home Edition. Last few days, my USB stopped recogonizing external hardware when plugged in. Now IE stops working. Mozilla works fine. Some apps we have do not work on Mozilla.

Tried to reset to default settings of Security and Advanced settings in the Internet Options. No luck.

It just keeps hunting and times out. Sometimes it gives 404 error.
