Recently, I reloaded all the drivers in a Acer Travelmate 290 on Win XP Pro. I can connect to Internet thru a Lan connection, but not thru wireless. After setting up the wirless network connection, it connects to my network. The connection strength is excellent. But I cannot surf the internet.

I have disabled and enabled the connection, no of times. I have restarted it numerous times.

Another laptop next to me connects fine to the same Access point.

Thanks,

Hmm. Some programs, such as AOL or CompuServe require you to use that to connect. If you are aware you do not need some form of program have you made sure to enter stuff like WEP correctly?
