Here is a website where many companies (also Dell) advertise "Deals of the day". It may be worthwhile to check that: http://www.deals2buy.com/categories/laptop/deals

I am not so sold on Dells. I have 2 Dells myself - they are so, so. Their support is pretty good though (if you need it). Lenovo, Asus, Samsung and Sony would be good choices.
