installation failed

this has been bugging me for so long. I cant seem to install need for speed undercover.
during the installation it fails, saying:
The cabinet file 'Group2.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a netwrok error, an error reading from teh CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.

and i cant retry, it still pops up.

any ideas how to overcome this issue? thanks

Have you checked to see if there is any visable damage like scratches on the disc?
