If you upgrade to windows 8 using your windows 7 that came with your computer.
Can you then use the windows 7 on another computer and be able to register it again with microsoft ,but not be able to upgrade on the second computer, if you are classed by microsoft as been the registered owner of the genuine key.
What I mean is,is your windows 7 licence key usable again after you upgrade to windows 8

Each Operating System has its own genuine COA, Product Key and Installation Media. Enough said.

Which means you cannot transfer the original key.
