I have recently upgraded my OS to Windows Ultimate from Windows Vista Starter edition. It got fully updated with all the Recommended and Important updates.
I am facing a problem with my in-built webcam.
My in-built camera is not being launched by the quick launch button 'Capture' which is given just below the monitor. I have installed the cam driver and it is being shown healthy in the device manager section. It is possible to launch the webcam from a messenger (Yahoo Messenger).
Along with this 'Capture' quick launch button, 9 more buttons are given. Among these only one button is working, the 'Display Off' button.
The remaining are not working. They are 'AV Mode', 'Play/Pause', 'Stop', 'Previous' and 'Next' (the last four will work for windows media player).
My laptop model is Sony VAIO VGN-CR220E.. OS Windows Ultimate 32 bit edition, SP 1 installed.
Please help me.
