Im doing a case study where I'm implementing an email system in a hospital

I've chosen to buy 350 pc's from dell and to also get a server with Windows Server 08 pre installed. I want to use Exchange Server 07 so would it be a matter of purchasing this and installing it on this server?

Not quite.
You have to do some planning on how you want to set things up with Active Directory, IP Address and others things. After that set those things up, install Exchange and set it up.
For a start on that see http://www.petri.co.il/plannin.....server.htm

I'm trying to get an fairly accurate costing for exchange server 07 but finding it hard to locate a price. I need it with around 5 admin licenses

Is there a cost issue with the number of mailboxes you have because I'll need around 350?
