(Solved) - IE8 help. A simple one I think...

I'm sorry in advance for such a stupid question, but I can't
figure this out and it's annoying me to death!

I'm running Win 7, IE 8... Problem:
When have IE8 open, and lets say I'm on CNN.com.
If I click a link to a related storry that's posted on
CNN, IE 8 opens full screen. BUT, and here's my stupid
little problem, everytime I click on a link that takes
me to another web site, like a external link, IE 8 will
open a 1/2 screen box instead of FULL SCREEN!

Tab browsing is off.
I have IE 8 set to "Run Maximized"
I didn't have this problem until I uped to Win 7.

Help? Thanks in advanced!
