IE8 32 vs IE8 64bit?

Installing a 64bit copy of Win 7 HP gives 2 IE8 browsers in the start menu. One is labelled '64 bit'. What is the purpose? Do some websites not render properly on a 64 bit browser?

Thanks Rick beat me to it .
GK the location shows in the status bar when you hover over the link, unless you do not have the status bar active.
