Is there a way to set IE7 to automatically delete the browsing history EVERYTIME you exit?

I know you can delete the browsing history on exit, but ASFAIK it's a one time thing and has to be done everytime before you exit.

I seem to recall that the IE8 Beta is supposed to have this capability.

Try setting the history days to zero.

Am going to suggest that to the friend who uses IE7 and doesn't want his "tracks" discovered at work. (I use FF myself and don't need to "hide" my tracks anyway).

Also, in Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced, check the box labeled "empty temporary internet files folder when browser is closing" under the Security section. The truly paranoid should also block all cookies, disable autocomplete, and never save forms data or passwords. It's the next best thing to trackless browsing, the feature coming in IE8 and FF 3.1 and already available in Chrome and Safari.
