Hi everyone,
I was wonder if anyone knew of a keyboard shortcut for print preview in IE7. There are shortcut keys when you're in print preview, but no actual keystroke to just get into print preview.

Thanks

Why a keyboard shortcut. It's so easy to just click "Print Preview". Am I missing something?

At my job, I'm required to go to print preview a lot and it would just be easier to keep my hands on the keyboard rather than fiddle with the mouse.

I know what you are talking about. That's why I got a keyboard with a scrollball. I hate those mices.

Thanks for the links...I didn't find what I was looking for.

Ctrl + p bring up print, but is there a shortcut key for IE7 to bring up print preview?

Using Print Preview
Shortcut keys for using print preview

Set printing options and print the page. ALT+P
Change paper, headers and footers, orientation and margins for this page. ALT+U
Display the first page to be printed. ALT+HOME
Display the previous page to be printed. ALT+LEFT ARROW
Type the number of the page you want displayed. ALT+A
Display the next page to be printed. ALT+RIGHT ARROW
Display the last page to be printed. ALT+END
Specify how you want frames to print (this option is available only if you are printing a web page that uses frames). ALT+F
Close Print Preview. ALT+C

(Is this not what you wanted)?

Lighthouse, those shortcut keys only work once the Print Preview window has launched.

Fusemal, hi. It looks like there is no one shortcut key to open the Print Preview window. You can get there with ALT+R, then V. That's two keystrokes, one with finger gymnastics. If you really, really don't want to go to the mouse this might be worth it.

ScottW. I was just offering a suggestion. I don't use IE7, so wouldn't know for sure. It's the best I could find on IE7 Print Preview :)

@LH,

I envy You, ScottW and whs for your Great Diplomacy.

I have such a "short fuse" with those that just won't dig into the "books" (LOL) (LOl).

How are you doing today ??

Regards,
Rick P.

Rick, everybody has different needs. Some read better from a screen than from a book. lol
