i've heard internet explorer brouser 10 is now and can be downloaded for win 7 . is this a good idea

I personally feel it is wise to wait before adopting anything new on the chance it could prove to be a turkey. There are others who will disagree.

As far as I know, it is just a "Release Preview" version for Win7, still not a finished product. I would avoid that unless you have a complete back-up that is guaranteed to get you back from the precipice.

I used it in the Windows 8 pre-releases. It worked pretty well. Never had any problems.
