Hi i am having trouble mounting a iso image, the main problem is that it is showing up as a ico file. Is there a way to convert a ico to iso? I've been able to mount the same iso file before but for some reason it is showing up as ico? What can i do?

mythumb hi. Rename the file extension to .iso

Nope it still shows that the file type is a icon.

I'm currently using windows 7 could that be a problem?

I very much doubt that is an iso file. What's it called ?

My guess, is that there is an ICO of the ISO.

there are my back ups for my program called reason.

I use daemon tools to mount the image and they use to show up as iso but for some reason they are now ico.

is there something else I am suppose to download for windows 7 to show the iso file?

download a free trial of a great program called anytoiso, it will convert any file to .iso format.
