Hi...
I hope somebody could share a little help here...
Here s the fact: i updated my IBM Intellistation Z Pro machine BIOS straight from IBM site...
after i flushed the old BIOS ( i was stupid enough to not save a copy of it)... i rewrited it with a new one...
As soon as i did this... my troubles just started:
first i got a message as : pointing device error....
then the BIOS could not identify no SCSI interface... or... it shaws me i have no HDD on it...
I connect on EIDE interface one HDD... everything ok until i tried to install Vista on it... it just stopped...
I called IBM... they sad the machine is out of warranty and they cannot do a thing...
hmm...
now... the machine is an IBM Intellistation Z Pro, 2x2.8Ghz Intel Xeon Processors in it,type 6221, 2.5Ghz ram.
one SCSI controller and one EIDE.
now... i really hate to give up on this machine... it served me very well...
can somebody tell me how to get an old IBM BIOS version to match my machine?
or... any solutiotion... it will be appreciate.
the reason i updated my BIOS was a damn 250GB HDD... who couldn t be recognized by my machine...
now... i have the HDD... the machine... one f...d BIOS.
trough me a bone ppl... plizzzzzzzzzzzz
