I was there spiritually, :) but in the Adirondacks, literally.
I had to wait 10 years to get across the pond for the first time.

Lighthouse, I'll bet you have an optical mouse. I remember back when we had to wash dirty mouse balls by hand. Yuck! As for drying, I recommend a microwave oven. It will definitely put and end to your problems with this mouse.

I'm reminded of the story of the guy who was told he needed a clean diskette. So, he got a diskette and went to the kitchen sink....

uhmm, isn't that the typical way of cleaning a diskette, hahahaha?

You guys seem to have had a good time whilst I was asleep.
@ScottW. I have 2 opticals & 1 testicle (mouse wise)
Thanks for all your input (BTW. I was joking....hehe) :)

I just reread the last post after seeing the other topic.
Now I feel a little dumb.
I thought for a while you did actually wash your mouse.

jd, we know Lighthouse. He likes to pull our legs. But it was fun.

Yes, I suppose it was fun.
I just didn't realize that was it's sole purpose at the start.
I'm starting to find that both Scott and Lighthouse like to joke, prank or pull our legs a lot.
It makes since now that I look at all the topics overall but the first few just didn't make since to me.

jd, we'll have to think of ways to get back at them - in our new OT.

@jd. I'd spent all day working on the registry and dissecting .dlls. Can't I have a bit of fun?

Yes you can.
I just didn't get it when it was in the support forums before.
I don't always know what someone knows online and know that there are some who would actually try to wash a mouse.
Though those people probably don't know how to edit the registry either. So someone who does know that like you probably wouldn't do that.
I try to avoid assuming to many things though. You never know for sure when an assumption could be wrong.
