I WANTED TO KNOW HOW U, OR IF U CAN CHANGE IMPORTED SONGS FROM A CD TO A I-TUNES FILE INTO A MP3 FILE. FOR EXAMPLE THE MAJORITY OF MY MUSIC ON I-TUNES ARE FROM MY ORIGINAL CD'S THAT I IMPORTED ON TO I-TUNES. BUT THEN I HAVE MUSIC THAT WAS DOWNLOADED FROM MIXTAPES AND LIMEWIRE THAT ARE NOW MP3 TYPE FILES. I WANT TO CHANGE THE CD TYPE FILE INTO MP3'S SO I CAN MAKE A CD THAT HAS OVER 145 NUMBER OF SONGS (TRACKS) VERSES THAT OF A NORMAL CD THAT HAS A AVERAGE OF 20 OR SO. I HOPE U UNDERSTAND MY QUESTION.

Hi Heydave19,

It depends on what you want to use the cd for. Do you want to use it on the pc? In that case you can burn it as a data cd with mp3's on it.
But if you want it to play on a regular cd player, you'll have to use some burning software that will burn them as an audio cd (Nero is a good program) and then all those songs won't fit. You can get about 20 or so numbers on a cd, just like the original cd's you ripped them from.

I don't use I-Tunes myself, but this topic was about converting songs from I-tunes, so maybe the desired info is in there.
If not, post back and we'll try and find the answer ;)
Come to think of it - please post back either way: we also love to know if things have been solved for you.

And one more thing: please no all-caps. It makes it more difficult to read.
Thank you.

Cheers,
Sarah.
