I was using Real Player and had download a ton of videos, suddenly they were all marked with a red "X" and gone. That was the second time this happened. I would like to find another one. Just something simple to download videos from the Internet and keep them!

I'm scared to download anything that you guys do not recommend. Everytime I do, I end up with a lot of misery from unwanted things that change my homepage, etc., and I have a heck of a time getting rid of them; e.g., mywebsearch and associated things!

I appreciate your help so much. Pat

Howdy curry.

I've been a big fan of lightweight and open sourced Kantaris for many years.

I have the VLC, but I hate that icon. Is there any way to change it.

I am going to also try the Kantaris and the others mentioned above.

THANKS EVERYBODY!

VLC is an excellent all around media player. For music, however, I use Media Monkey's built-in player.
