I know how to do that in Win98, haven't looked into it on Vista yet.
I'll have a look later on if I can find anything;)

Best regards,
Sarah.

Sorry, really busy here. My initial search hasn't given me anything. I'll give it another try in the weekend.

In Win98 this was easy and it should be possible in Vista too - if one font is used another could be used as it's replacement. But so far no luck. I will keep looking, but if anyone else has an idea, please dive in!
Sorry I can't be of more help at this moment, Snugglez64 :(

Best regards,
Sarah.

How about changing the fonts in the "Advanced appearance options", might work ?

@ LH - As I understand he already did that - but the options there are limited.

In Win98 you had folder.ini under C:\Windows and C:\Program Files and C:\Windows\System
If you edited those ánd deleted the font Verdana (for some weird reason no changes ever would take effect with Verdana installed) you could make Explorer have exactly the font and visuals you liked.
It should be something like that I thought in Vista, but no luck so far.

Hi guys, i also goooogle'd away trying to get it right, i found out that it can be done, the thing is.... ok, I've downloaded a windows vista theme, ZEUSosX F os X and that set of Mac Leopard themes sets the fonts to bold all over the show and I link that alot, however, I dont like the theme, i'm using a Windows 7 theme atm and the 'feature' i'd like to get in this windows 7 theme is bold text in the Favorite Links section in Explorer like the ZEUS theme does...

So I've come to the conclusion that its the theme itself that i need to edit, the only thing is, I don't know how or where to start...
