i was wondering if i could put windows 7 on my laptop that currently ad vista on it, we dont have the original disk. help please
Not without a Microsoft original installation disk - and then only if you uninstall it from the other system (unless you have a multiple system license).
if i backup the info on the computer with 7, and run it on the other computer would it transfer from xp to 7
You have to explain that in a little more detail. How does XP come into the picture?
its vista not xp sorry, and i dont have the disk, if i make a backup disk on the windows 7 computer and put it in my vista computer would it carry te windows 7 over too
Probably won't boot up, the hardware on both computers is not the same. Don't even know if you will get far enough to get the BSOD
No, that will not work if it is an OEM license (OS that came with the system). It will check the mobo number and bump you out.
