I wanted to make new playlists for my music in windows 7 media player but no matter how often I right click to delete it, the playlists won't leave. There is no music on it anymore, but the names are still there as if the playlists still exist...which they don't. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the media player 12, but the lists just reappeared from no where. Help my please. The computer geeks I brought it to where I purchased the computer a few weeks ago, said they can't fix it.

if they are open somewhere else, other files,in media player,is it saying cannot delete because files are being
used ??.when you r/click them look down list try locate file/file location.i had the same problem i think i
r/click on the name and clicked remove from computer?.
You can delete the data base from
It won,t remove the files just the playlists and library content database then WMP will just rebuild the DB.
