I am trying to access www.torrentfreak.com but I am being redirected repeatedly to http://www.aircel.co.in/ first and then to http://www.aircel.co.in/Aircel.....el/kolkata

I have asked my friends to see if they were having the same problem or not. But they have said that the problem is only specific to me. So someone please help me how to get rid of this problem.

By the way my ISP is Aircel. Please help me. I have posted before about this, but the post vanished. Please help me.

Probably another case of Big Brother deciding what you can or can not do.

boral, hi. It was me who deleted your previous 2 posts.

It is not a case of Big Brother, it is a case of copyright owners protecting there work.
Responsible ISPs will block certain sites where they feel that illegal downloads could emanate from.
In the UK service providers are ensuring that some sites are blocked.
Having retired from the music industry which has suffered greatly from this plague I have to say 'good'.

The internet is a repository of good and valuable information, most of which is free but it is abused. There are parts that just want to rip and not pay their dues.

End of discussion as far as I am concerned.

Mike, big brother was not referencing you. It was referencing the alleged redirection of web sites deemed inappropriate for viewing by the OPs ISP. Very funny though that you thought it was about you :))) LOL

OK maybe I misunderstood your reply. If it is copyright infringement then it is a valid option to redirect from that web site. My ISP has adopted the 3 strikes and your out when it comes downloading copyright protected material. Since I don't use pirated software or download copyrighted material from the internet I have nothing to worry about. At first glance I didn't get what you said and thought that you thought I was calling you Big Brother...:)))

Bottom line don't use pirated software or download copyrighted material from the internet.
