Just wondering if this happened to someone else too ...
When I'm in 'topics I've participated in' and I click Forums, the page can't be found.
It has happened several times now over the past days.
When I go to 'Home' or 'Wiki' and then I click 'Forums' it works ok.

I haven't seen that with the forum home page. There have been some forum topics that display it though. Not sure why. It usually works later so I haven't bothered looking into it.

I 've had that happen with IE. I started using Firefox. No problem since. :-)

Hi jd2066 - same here. I usually get in later or I go to 'home' or 'wiki' and then click 'forums', but since The Geek was working on the layout I thought I'd post it, so at least it is known:)
To me it is not a problem, just something I noticed.

Hi Bartman - The Geek already tried to get me to use Firefox ;-D
It has a lot of fans ...
But as long as IE doesn't act up too strongly I won't make any changes.
And besides, there should be someone to test stuff in IE, shouldn't it? LOL

I started getting that error page with increasing frequency, not just HTG but other sites too.
Got fed up with it so I switched to FF. :-)

Edit: Yeah, it's a dirty job, but someone's gotta do it. ;-)

I haven't really changed anything on the site in the last few days, and definitely nothing on the forum. Not sure where the issues would be coming from.

@ The Geek - so the problem is with me, not with HTG:)
I'll logout and run Ccleaner, including cookies, and login again tomorrow.
Sometimes that's all that's needed.

Goodnight!
Sarah.

Thanks, mpc104 :)

@ The Geek - it needed cleaning index.dat before it worked, but now everything is working fine again.

@ Bartman - Ohhh, the burden of testing IE ... LOL
But if you have problems with IE cleaning out the cookies and index.dat with CCleaner really helps.
It's all running very very smoothly now ...
