Any chance of there ever being a How-to Geek chat? Another forum i post on just implemented a facebook-like chat bar across the bottom. just open is a site-wide chat? I think it would be great for quick help if members happen to be on at the same time. I know I would make use of such a feature. anyone else?

AND sometimes we "Chat" with each other on a topic thread if and when the subject matter calls for it. :) :)

Chat's are good, but the 'value' might not be there. Drawback is 'seeing' if a screenshot is needed. I'd rather use TEAMVIEW and SKYPE to talk to someone and be on their system (or looking at it) to assist.

Of course, your 'help' would only be as good as the person offering it, and there is always the possibility of something going wrong. At least if there is a post with bad info or links, someone can correct it, hopefully before one reads and acts on it.

My $0.02 USD worth.
