hi guys, i've been having a BSOD problem for some time now on my laptop running Windows VHP (i've run and re-ran the Memory Diagnostics Tool in VHP but it doesn't show any errors for my RAM). so i'm guessing i might have a problem with my other hardware, is there a way for me to check or test for any hardware problems?

i've been googling 'how to test for hardware problems' for some time now and i keep seeing PC hardware stress tests/bench tests, is that the way to go? if it is can anybody suggest a good, easy to use (preferably freeware) stress test/benchmarking software?
