HI CAN YOU HELP ME PLEASE I WANT TO DETECT WIRELESS INTERNET FROM 27MILES DISTANCE WITHOUT USING TO ANTENNAS JUST ONE
SO THAT I CAN DETECT ANY WIRELESS USING OUTDOOR WIRELESS ANTENNAS UBIQITY /AIRMAX ANTENNAS COULD U PLEASE TELL ME
WHAT TO BUY AND TO CONFIGURE IT ON MY PC I WILL GREATLY APPRECIATE

What makes you think that you can detect a wireless signal from that distance with any antenna.

And... isn't that a little backwards? Isn't it the originator that has to broadcast a signal 27 miles so you can pick it up. You can't just suck it in.

I know it's Wikipedia, so don't take it all too literally, but have a look through THIS ARTICLE on long-range wifi and why standard wifi has limitations.
