I am sending 120 files which will take about 3 hours to upload...the computer shuts down after 15 minutes or so, with no interaction by me. How can I see the computer to run for 3-4 hours before stopping working if there is no mouse or other interaction by me?

Hi and welcome.

Go to

START / Control Panel then go to Power Options,

There you will find some timer settings

tomferd, hi.

Can you please tell us exactly what you are trying to do?

Is this FTP upload?

Have you changed your settings in control panel to never shutdown or go to sleep?
